Why Slow and Steady Wins the Race in Social Media

A lot of the times, new business pop up and their owners are so excited about this new venture that they think they need to see quick growth on social media. This mindset may lead them to make some rash decisions such as buying followers or spending too much on ads. And it may look impressive to investors to have gained over 1,000 followers in under a month, but savvy investors know there's more to it than that. Project Asterisk: Prelude to the Meetup

Now that I'm back from my honeymoon, everything is starting to come together for the coworking space. I'm so fortunate to have people like Mitch Neff and Deb Neff and Gregg Hilferding and so many others on my side. I met with Mitch today and we talked about a variety of things including the fact that he knows a space that we could probably get for relatively cheap. But most of all, the meeting just got me pumped to get the whole thing started.

So, starting today, I'm inviting everyone who's interested in The Green Asterisk coworking space to join my Slack. I'm going to get a meetup going within the next couple weeks where we can all work out details including what kind of pricing people can afford, how people can help get us set up, and all that good stuff.

If you're in Tampa and you want to be part of a community- and culture-first coworking space, or if you just want to be invested in the newest Tampa startup, come along! I'm sure we can find some way for you to help! This Slack invite will close in 30 days, so press the button and join in on the fun before it's too late.
